Can someone give me advice, on how to get involved in the building industry?

I'm interisted in the building industry, but have no formal education in the business. I'm finding it a little difficult getting my foot in the door. I have done( low votage pre-wiring )on new homes, but i'm looking to gain more experience in the market. Any help is greatly appreciated!Can someone give me advice, on how to get involved in the building industry?
You can try applying for a job with a general contractor, or a specialized contractor such as plumber, electrician, carpenter, roofer, mason, or other trade that you think might be of interest to you. You can learn on the job, but having no previous training, you can expect to start at entry level. Work hard, do the best you can, and any employer will help you learn the trade and advance in the field.
