can I use a Bobcat MT55 or do I need a mini excavator?I am building a segmented block wall (4 to 10 feet high) I need advice on cutting the hillside?
depending on what kind of material you are excavated you want to slop it away from you to avoid cave in and slid off. getting buried alive is no fun and it doesn't take much to kill you.. a wheelbarrow full of dirt can weigh as much as 500 lbs. you don't ten of them on top of you. SO that being said..not knowing what you are digging in I'd use the mini exc. slower but more versatile.
