I have the wings and radio gear, but am building the fuselage.
Has anyone done this before, any advice.
Thanks.Advice on building a r/c Cessna fuselage out of balsa wood.?
If you understand the basic construction technique of ribs/bulkheads and overlaying the skin, and are just worried about the CG, then the room between the bulkheads at the foreward and aft edges of the wing. is used for the battery compartment. This allows you to shift the battery forward and aft some to achieve the right balalnce. For starters, using your finger tips under the tips of the wings, attempting to set the CG at about the thickest point on the wing chord.Advice on building a r/c Cessna fuselage out of balsa wood.?
First of all, if the wings are made of balsa I would continue with balsa of the fuzz.
Considering I made an ugly stick with my own two hands entirely out of balsa it'll work well.
And about your centre of gravity, try and balance the wings on your fingertips while attached to your model and it should sit dead flat
