I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?

Carrying balances of more than 30% of your available limit, hurts your credit. Pay off the credit cards.

If you have derogatory items on your credit report, negotiate settlement. Start with the newest and work back to the oldest. Be sure to get any settlement agreement in writing and keep it, along with your payment proof, forever. Do not give collectors direct access to your bank account.

Paying old debt won't improve your score. But creditors look at your whole credit report not just the score. Paid old debt looks better.

You will need at least 24 months of consistent, on time payment history to improve your score.I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?
You know that section below your ';headline'; where you can leave a more detailed message? It would be great if you could use it.

Please send your message again and include this information:

Country and state you live in.

What is your credit score and what are the problems that you are having with your credit.

While we don't need to know which credit card company you are with it would be helpful if you at least gave us a total of your available credit and how much of it you already used. It can be done in percentages...

(example card a is maxed out, card b has 50% of available credit limit left...

Whether you have ';bad'; entries and how old they are....

We don't mean to pry.... but without any idea of what it is you are dealing with.... all we can do is give you very generalized instructions

as in: pay down your debt and don't use too much credit.

I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?
If you have $500 in a savings account, convert it into a secured credit card. Most banks can set it up for you. Do not go to a credit union because most do not report to the credit bureaus in order to keep the cost down.
I would recommend 2 things: 1) a very low cost (possibly free) credit repair program to try to have the negative items removed. 2) I would add a tradeline program to boost your score quickly (60 days or quite possibly less). A friend in California used this and got a 120 point bump from 560 to 680. My friend in California went through www.totaldebtsolutionsllc.com and called their toll free# or filled out the free evaluation form to get the ball rolling. Good luck.
Start small first- go with a secured credit card. You send the credit card company a check for whatever ';credit limit'; you want. If you send $200 then that will be your credit limit. Make the small monthly payments on time and it will make a difference on your credit report.

If you have a checking account, go to the bank where you have the account and speak with the Branch Manager. Tell the Manager that you need his/her help obtaining a loan to build back your credit. Open up a savings account specifically for this ';loan';. Let the Manager know that you'd like to borrow a small amount ($500-1000) and that same amount will remain in your savings account. Every month you will pay the monthly payments until the loan is completely paid back. In the meantime, work with the Manager to make sure your payment history for this loan will be reported to all 3 credit burureus (Experian, TransUnion, Equifax).

Good luck!!
You should have 5-7 tradelines going at all times (credit cards, loans, mortgage, etc. are all considered tradelines). NEVER charge more than 50% of available credit. For example, you have a $1,000 credit card limit, you should never charge more than $500. ALWAYS pay your bill on time. Do not go 30 days late or it will hit your credit reports and continue to bring your scores down. If your credit is really bad and you can not get any credit cards and have no open credit cards, go to your local bank with $500 if you can and open a secured line of credit. You will be using your own money but it will be reported to the credit bureaus as a credit line that you are paying on time and will help build your credit.

Well my sixth would be a salamance or any strong dragon pokemon. I would choose them because dragon pokemon are my favorite and they have excellent stats and all-around they're good.So i'm building the my pokemon team and i'd like advice on what pokemon should i add to it?
Why Don't choose from this:

An ice type for it has the most of the advantage in battles.

OR

A Fire Type...

My Team In my Pokemon game is only composed by 3 Pokemons

An Electric type Luxray,

A Fire Type Infernape,

And a flying type skarmory

hope it helps
What game? If its Emerald,Ruby,Saphire i would i like blakisen since you dont have a fire type in there. if its like diammond,Pearl, Plantinum, Probably on eof hte starters i recomend starters they are very good.

Need your advice on building desktop applications.

I have a great idea for an application but I am somewhat hesitant to pay the large fees developers charge. The principal behind the application/software is very simple so I want to know if there is a software I can use to build it. I do not know the first thing about building software so I have no idea where to start. I suppose I have to start somewhere I guess. Please could you point me in the right direction to getting started. Do I need to buy any software or books or is there any sites out there that could help me. thank you in advance.Need your advice on building desktop applications.
First of all developers do not charge large fees. We have to make a living just like you do. There is a very large cost involved in actually becoming skilled at programming. I'm not talking the hobbyist programmer here, but a person who has taken the time to become skilled at what they do. I doubt what you do to make a living is done for free either. Nor does it require you to constantly acquire knowledge practically every day. This is quite common and done usually at the programmers own expense.

With that said you can post this on a freelance website and solicit bids anon. You can control the amount you spend by only accepting bids that are in your price range. There are some good programmers out there that would do this work very reasonably. At least reasonable from my point of view.

Before you even begin, I suggest getting a NDA drawn up by a qualified attorney who understands digital rights contract law. Otherwise you might find your application getting stolen.

Need your advice on building desktop applications.
You might be able to find a developer with an entrepreneur spirit who will build it with you for a cut of the profits. Know any friends or acquaintances who write software?

Microsoft provides free editions of their software packages used to write software along with lots of tutorials on how to write software.

  • Hi i am planing on building a gameing pc but need some advice on what graphics card to go with?

I only have a budget of 拢110 but i whant something that will play crysis on full settings could you check out this website then advice me

http://www.cclonline.com/product-categories.asp?category_id=124Hi i am planing on building a gameing pc but need some advice on what graphics card to go with?
Try going with Nvidia Geforce 9800GT, or an ATI Radeon Hd series, one of those will be good to run.Hi i am planing on building a gameing pc but need some advice on what graphics card to go with?
if your screen's resolution is less than 1366x1024, settle with nvidia 9600gt 512mb ddr3 1066.

that can play crysis very well, no frame drops or lags, overclock it using rivatuner or Vtune. buy Palit's 9600gt because it features extremely large copper finned heatsink. and good overclocking capabilities. save the other 30 pounds for more ram.

or try the ATI HD4670, everything at full resolution and graphics settings on high. but without antialiasing, which the 9600 gt can offer. the HD4670 is a powerful card for medium gaming. which ati calls' mainstream gaming' it's too powerful for mainstream and very cheap.

but if you're on a tight budget, why not combine two hd4670 on your mobo for crossfire? that's if it's crossfire capable.

two hd4670s are more powerful than an nvidia 9800gt for a fracton of the cost. it costs less than 80 dollars!
On your budget try the Nvidia 9800GT or if you are willing to spend a little more the ATI HD4850. These are both very good video cards and they will handle Crysis very well.

NB: I see on the website you can get the GTX 260 for 104 pounds. I would get this video card as it is excellent but make sure you have adequate cooling in your case.

    http://www.buildyourown-computer.com/Sho鈥?/a>
The Radeon 4850 (or 4870 if you want to spend a little more) is a fantastic graphics card and can run Crysis very well on very high settings. It is a much better value than any nvidia cards out right now and much faster than most 9000 series nvidia cards (other than the ones that cost twice as much).
    here's a useful link: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/rade鈥?/a>

they recommend the best graphics cards for each different budget. 110 pounds is about $180.

    Building a treehouse advice?

What kind of trees can hold up a treehouse?

How should I start building it?

If the place I live gets a lot of rain, will that effect the treehouse?

What kind of maintenence will the treehouse need?Building a treehouse advice?
Basically you want a tree with enough thick branches to support your beams. Pine trees are generally poor choices. Some maples are very good choices. It's a good idea to ';anchor'; at least some of your floor beams in the ';crook'; of a branch.

    Beams are 2x6 lumber, and you'll want to get a few of these beneath your ';floor.';

Also, realize that your tree is a growing, changing, living structure -- and your treehouse isn't. That means your treehouse is temporary - eventually the tree will grow and twist (and your beams won't) and you'll need to start over.

And if you're in a rainy climate, you'll want to paint your treehouse to protect it. Otherwise the wood will rot within about 3 years, and you'll fall through the floor.

The fun thing about treehouses is the view, and breezes. So I wouldn't worry about putting up 4 walls, of if you do, make huge windows. With no windows or small windows, you're just sitting in a box that happens to be in a tree.

Most of my treehouses have been a roof and a floor, basically a pavillion up in a tree - affording a 360degree view and wonderful breezes.

Some ideas for you. I've built numerous treehouses, and they're alot of fun, but they're temporary. Enjoy.Building a treehouse advice?
I would build a self standing platform around the tree. No nails in the trunk. Then you can be more liberal about your tree selection.

    1. draw it on paper. graph paper works best, make each graph intersection equal one foot and go from there. this makes counting your lumber easy.

    2. concrete piers in the ground are best. dig them at least 16';x16';x16';. stand them out of the ground about three inches to keep the wood from contacting the soil. the post should be 4x4 or 4x6.

    3. floor joists should be at 16'; intervals. use 5 1/4 deck board on the surface. use 2x10 boards for the joist members. place the handrail at 36'; off the deck with boards at 18'; below that. Use pressure treated lumber throughout the project. Either run the deck at a 45 degree angle, or nail sway bracing to the underside of the floor. Either method will stabilize the treehouse and keep it from flopping over.

    4. if you plan to install a roof on it, keep it simple and build a flat roof. Elevate one side of the roof one foot higher than the other side for drainage. build walls instead of handrails. use 2x6 rafters to support the roof. and use roll roofing to dry it in.

    5. all wood structures left outside need maintenance. pressure treated lumber will last a long time. but you will need to apply wood sealer to it every year.

    6. if you live in metro atlanta, IM me and i will come build it for you. if you are cute and single, you get a discount.
This site has a lot of the answers you need including a video as well as step by step instructions with pictures and a list of materials needed. Sounds like this will be fun! :)

    Running advice on building endurance?

Hi i have started running 4 Km 4 times a week which is around 3.3 miles in US i started of at 2 km twice a week before i doubled my distance and days and im amazed at my endurance increace but i would like to know how does youre endurance increase? what physical actions happen inside youre body to build the endurance?

    thankyouRunning advice on building endurance?
Your body learns to be more efficient the at the distance you train. Everything in your body changes down to the mitochondria to achieve the efficient use of available energy, even cannibalizing muscle efficiently at extreme distances.

I've run 22 marathons and 6 50K ultras (31.1 miles). Your body will learn to tolerate the sports drinks and foods you will consume while running without stopping. All of this will occur naturally during proper training.

Endurance is distance. If you run 5 miles all of the time, your body will become efficient at the 5 mile distance.

Speed is achieved by running faster at the same or shorter distances once or twice a week, then you run slower during all other running.Running advice on building endurance?
Your endurance increases by NOT running the SAME DISTANCE OVER AND OVER AGAIN, like you do. It increases by varying distance, including variations in paces during runs.

Bascially, when you exercise, your fitness decreases. Your body then rests (hopefully), causing it to over-compensate for the fitness level reduction. Fitness then rises above normal levels. However, with the SAME DISTANCE, fitness decreases constantly after a small increase. So, carry on running 4k 4 times weekly, and you will see your fitness level drop to 0.

Mix up your sessions. Have one run at 1k, but at a real fast pace. ave one run at 7k, with a real slow pace. Have one run at 5k, with3 intervals of 6 minutes of fast running, and 3 minutes at a slower recovery jog. But don't run the same distance over and over again-its demotivating, and doesn't improve long term fitness.
run a little more every day

4 KILOMETERS IS ONLY 2.6 MILES
maybe you should drink more orange juice.

Building muscle with weights advice please?

I am starting to lift weights but need advice on some questions guys and girls

    1. I have only just started and am using 5kg weights. Am i weak if i can only lift 5kgs at first? I recently saw a documentary about young bodybuilders where this 15 year old girl was curling 7.5kg weights. So am i just a weak person?

    2. I am very slender and so will i need to put on fat first by eating loads of food and then work out to see bigger muscles develop as the fat turns to muscle or can i see good gains from going from slender to muscular?

    Thanks

DaveBuilding muscle with weights advice please?
You build muscle over time, not over night. Increase your lean protein intake and progressively add weight to how much you are training with. Don't just eat food, lean proteins, chicken, fish, skim milk, and protein shakes if you're so inclined. Even the Incredible Hulk started as a baby hulk.Building muscle with weights advice please?
have a higher protien intake, like eggs, protine shakes/powders.
big no no FAT DOES NOT TURN IN TO MUSCLE. and sorry to say but yes you are weak but everyone starts somewhere so hit the weights hard and one day youll be where im at ;) lol jk
Congratulations, Dave! Great to see you are taking an interest in your health. Keep up the good work! A few thoughts about your questions.

    1. No sir, you most certainly are NOT a ';weak'; person. You should not try to measure your fitness and strength by comparing yourself to others. I'm a weakling compared to Lee Haney, but I look like a colossus standing next to my 5'6'; wife. If 5kg is all you can lift, go for it, and DO NOT be ashamed. EVERYBODY has to start somewhere. You'll move up soon, if you keep at it. Persistence is the key.

    2. If you're slender, you don't want to get fat first, just to bulk up, and then try to replace fat with muscle. Putting on fat is unhealthy - bad for your heart, bad for your metabolism, and bad for your body chemistry. Eat plenty of healthy foods, and your body should - SHOULD - put on mass, if you continue to weight train.

';Healthy foods'; means lean protein (egg whites, soy, sugar-free yogurt, whey, grilled fish and chicken, and LEAN cuts of pork and beef), beans, fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. If you eat potatoes, they should be baked, and you should eat the skin (try low-fat cottage cheese instead of sour cream). Better yet, eat plain baked sweet potatoes (but skip the butter and sugar, much less candied yams).

Contrary to popular belief, a low-fat diet isn't very good for you. Get your fats from ';good'; sources, like RAW (not smoked or roasted or salted) nuts and olive oil - not from bacon, cake icing, or salad dressing and mayonnaise (unless it's homemade, with olive or flax seed oil, and then only in moderation). Don't forget calcium, which you can get from skim milk, yogurt and reduced-fat cheese.

Avoid fried food, sugar (drink diet sodas if you absolutely MUST have a soft drink), refined carbs (most pastas and breads), flour (again, breads, but also cookies, cakes, etc.), and alcohol. Every once in a while, ';treat'; yourself, but junk food should not be part of anyone's everyday life. On non-treat days, slice up a banana, and pour in half a cup of skim milk, or take a handful of fresh strawberries and add a tablespoon of reduced-calorie whipped topping, instead of reaching for that big bowl of ice cream.

You'll have to eat a lot more of those healthy foods, because an unhealthy diet is much more dense in terms of calories. But you do NOT want to train your body to accept a diet that makes you fat.

If you are eating like a horse, and exercising with weights, and you're still slender, that may that you are just ... young. A lot of guys don't ';fill out'; until they're in their late teens and early 20's. If you are under the age of 16-18 or so, you should seek professional assistance before undertaking any SERIOUS weight training.

If you're older and still can't gain weight, on the other hand, you might just have a high metabolism. Consider yourself blessed, my friend. Almost everyone else has the exact opposite problem, and would KILL to be in your shoes.
I started out with 5kgs i use to do 20 reps, then relaxed for a few minutes and then 20 again relax and then 20 again. You know when you are ready for 7kgs etc. I ended up pushing benchpress of 100 kg and could do 10 reps in a row. Those were the days. You must always remember to do warm-ups before doing any reps ok. I did not eat more at all just did loads of benchpress etc. Take care that you don't hurt yourself and get one of the guys who knows what they are doing to work out a plan for you. :)))
Don't eat tons of food to gain fat. Just eat healthy and add lean protien to help build muscle. What ever you can lift now is acceptable. Continue to lift and before you know it you will be stronger and lifting more. Everyone is differnt and will start at different weights. Do what is good for you and don't compare yourself to others.
in a bulking stage you will eat loads of food and train hard. you will put on a bit of fat too, this is inevitable. when you get to the size you want you can then gut back on food a bit and increase cv training to lose this fat.

fat does not turn to muscle. you build muscle from scratch.

the key to gaining muscle is eat clean and lift heavy. you want a high protein diet (1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight)

everyone starts somewhere and when i started lifting my bicep curl was 5kg in each hand. thats up to 15 in each now.

    good luck with it.

    some interesting information here http://forum.bodybuilding.com
';The journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step';. In other words, yes.. your weak right now, but your doing something about it. So feel good about that. It's much better to work at the right weight, with excellent form than to over-extend and risk injury.

You certainly do NOT need a layer of fat to build muscle. You will need to increase your food in order to build muscle, but you do not need to get excess weight. Be sure to eat good quality protein foods after each owrkout too. Very best of luck.

i was planing on building a mid range gaming pc

GTX285, no doubt about it. It's the second best single GPU made by nVidia to date, it'll blow the 2 9600GTs out of the water. Get the GTX285, or upgrade to a GTX295 ($500), that works too. However, for a mid-range gaming PC, just get a GTX275 or an ATI HD4870 to save money without sacrificing much performance. Here's a graphics card hierarchy chart:

the gtx 285 is by far a lot better than 2 9600gt's.....no comparison really....if you can get the gtx 285 get it.....you will be glad you did......

if your going for a midrange pc i would go with the gts 250or the gtx 260 and on the ATI side i would go with a HD Radeon 4850 or the 4870...great performance for the cost of those 4 video cards.....

Stick with Onkyo - the beast deal on the market, with HDMI1.3a and new HD audio processors.

There is a company called NHT - well known in High End circles, but not one of those BestBuy brands.

Howdy, I am building a a new sound system myself.

    The Onkyo looks really good!

I bought a Harman Kardon and am really happy with it.

Here are some other direct marketing speaker manufacturers

you might want to check out.

Ascend Acoustics: I bought a pair of the CBM 170 SE and they sound great. They are similar to the speakers you have listed but have greater sensitivity.

    http://www.ascendacoustics.com/

These speakers got my attention but I didn't think I had the proper room for them. They are planar ribbon speakers and are supposed to sound great!

I spoke with one of the engineers at Axion Audio and he was really excited about their line of speakers.

HSU Research is supposed to have one of the best sub woofers on the market. I plan on buying one as soon as budget permits :-)

There are many high quality speakers on the market.

The ones I have listed give you more for your money. This is important to me as I have work within a budget, but do not want to comprimise sound quality.

When I was about 4 my mom left my abusive dad and moved me and my sister into a hotel room. We were there about 6 months in tight quarters. My sister was a little under a year old.

The only advice I can give is make sure to get the kids out to burn energy. We went to the park nearly every day and she always made sure we had plenty to do to keep us busy.

don't do it is the only advice i have..lol. we got transferred for my husbands job an his employer paid for a suite at the Marriott for 30 days while we looked for a new place. i had my 3 year old son and was pregnant with my daughter. it was awful!. no room to move around really, hardly any privacy except for at night when my son was asleep in the joining room. the garbage piled up and i can only imagine how bad it would have been if he was still in diapers. you will need tons of patience. good luck and congrats on the house.
Serousally go wild childproofing, if they are going to get into something dangerous it will be fairly wuickly in that small of space. Make sure you have lots of toys and coloring stuff, and take your kids outside as often as possiable

Okay, this is what I want: A fast computer. I don't know much about what I need. I just want a fast computer, with a lot of space (hard drive space?), a lot of memory (memory ram?), a great amazing processor, and I don't know what else I need. I want it to run and perform smoothly, no freezing or lagging on my video games. I want my games to look and sound great. I have more than 13.0 GB worth of games, and I have a lot of music. What do you suggest I buy/do?I need professional help/advice on building/putting together my own computer?
If your a gamer i suggest building your own, you will get quality components for a great price. If you were to buy a similar gaming system from a major manufacturer you are likely to pay alot more.

Heres my suggestion: Build around the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, if you can afford there is even Quad core. Get a decent socket 775 Mobo, Asus and Gigabyte are great brand names. At least 2 gigs DDR2 Ram, top of the line Video Card is the Nvidia 8800GTX, and for hard drives get 1 or 2 Western Digital Raptors the 150gig 10k RPM drives. Post back with a budget ill put one together for you on NeweggI need professional help/advice on building/putting together my own computer?
most important Q is how much $$$ you've. how much $ you willing to invest?
Build your own... Go to somewhere like a newegg.com and check out the reviews carefully. Sata hard drives partitioned properly will help, two hard drives, one with the OS on it, the other for your games... Hard drives seem to have the best price point in the 320gb range (about $100) . The video card should be well reviewed and have 256mb on it... 2 gb of ram for windows XP, don't get vista yet because of driver issues. For the processor, AMD dual cores just had a massive price drop, just buy the fastest one you can afford. For the board, a nice MSI would do just fine. Sound cards are cheap, they all do basically the same for games...
Well you didnt give us a budget to work with. And you didnt mention whether or not you know how to put it together when you get the parts. I would say for a nasty computer you want, expect to spend at least $2000 from a company like Dell, etc.

$1500 if you build it yourself.
These are some great links, and I think you should read them before you go any further.

Advice on Building Credit when borrowing against a CD?

have you used this method of building credit?

if so how did it effect your credit?

Is it better to start with a small $500 cd and work my way up every six months?

example: $500 cd then $1000, then $2500, then $5000, then $10,000 ( every six months)?

or just start with a $5000 cd? (6 months or a year)

    Thanks

~ building credit and repairing credit is like another job.Advice on Building Credit when borrowing against a CD?
I built credit by borrowing against a CD using 2 ways. The first way was I borrowed $2000 on a secured CD loan for 24 months. I took the proceeds of the loan and placed them in another CD that matured in 12months. After 18 months after paying off the CD then I opened a Citi Secured Credit Card in which the security deposit is linked to a CD that earns 4% interest. I aggressively added to the CD as much and as often as I could until I was able to reach the maximum allowed ($25,000) and then after 18 months, the card converted to a regular card and I renewed my CD with citi earning the same amount of interestAdvice on Building Credit when borrowing against a CD?
Very good answer! I have heard this method by a real estate investor. I will be taking your advice as well as the one by the real estate investor.

    Thanks!

It really doesn't make a difference. Your assets are your assets. My best advice for building credit is to have as much credit limit (on credit cards) as possible. Then don't use that limit. This will reflect on your credit report as a low amount of bankcard utilization.

Im not even sure having cd's will help build credit at all. It may just make creditors feel more comfortable in loaning you money because of your assetts.

I am building a hovercraft and I want to make it steer, Do u have any advice on how to do this?

I am building a hovercraft for the science fair. I need to make something new on it to aprove, as far as I know not many have beenb made to steer, I need advice on how to make it steer and also if you have any cool twist that I would able to add onto it??? please help!!I am building a hovercraft and I want to make it steer, Do u have any advice on how to do this?
If it is in motion, add a rudder. As the air flows across it... like a boat in water, the craft will twist to cause a turn type movement. If stationary, divert some airflow out a side jet ';jet'; to push the craft in the direction you want it to go. A small solenoid valve would do the trick. Fire to allow air to flow as desired. A servo motor/remote control car steering mechanism will do the trick for the rudder.I am building a hovercraft and I want to make it steer, Do u have any advice on how to do this?
If all you are doing is providing lift air, you need to still provide forward motion. Once you have forward motion, you can add steering. As it is a hovercraft, you can't have a rudder hanging down (especially if it's on land!).

Motion forward can be achieved, as others suggest. Steering might also be obtained by placing a vane to tilt one side or the other.

So far as accurate steering, that's an area where true hovercraft fall down. You can swing its nose the way you want to go pretty fast, but the inertia tends to take it straight ahead instead, until the thrust having altered direction slowly brings it around. In the meantime, it skids.

A cool twist would be find a way to make one turn immediately on demand.

Otherwise, maybe a horn to warn when you attempt to turn it!

i think you must add a horizontal rudder like with a helicopter, or add one facing outwards, with flaps.

you could also make advance forward and/or backward by using two rudders in the air bag: if one is more powerful than the other, the hover would advance in the opposite direction.
Vanes below the main fan to direct some of the airflow to the side. Or tilt the main fan. Or have secondary fans pointing to the side.

    ';as far as I know not many have beenb made to steer';

Of course they can steer, why would anyone build a hovercraft that can't steer?

Well your using a fan on the back attach a bar or something to make it swivel

    Advice building a computer?

Can't afford a Dell workstation, so I will need to put together my own, and was wondering what combinations/recommendations you would make. at $978 the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 Kentsfield 2.66GHz 2 x 4MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor is a little out of reach, so was looking at Intel Core 2 Duo T7600 Merom 2.33GHz Socket M Processor Model BX80537T7600 - Retail for $630. How do they compare and what graphics card, case, motherboard, would you recommend? I work as graphic designer with photoshop 300-400MB files and also do a lot of 3D work and video digitizing. Any advice greatly appreciated.Advice building a computer?
If you need to ask advice, i would advise on not doing it, the hardware is the easy thing to put together, but its the rest that is frustrating.Advice building a computer?
The motherboard has to support the 64bit proccessor for high end graphics. For Video I would go with ATI 256 MB GPU for the 3D stuff This thing has the Active x 9.0 which is real sweet almoste as good as the Active X10.0 Now for the Ram since you have the Dual core CPU I would get 2Gig of RAM with dual channel DDR-SDRAM PC3200 to support the Bus speed///now for the case I would use one that will give the best cooling for you money ....The motherboard would be the one that has 1024 FSB DDR 184 DIMM slots ...
yep your going the right direction with the motherboard, but include at least one GB of ram for photoshop. ATI video card are a good idea. The video card should have around 512 mb of memory. as for the case, any case is good enough, if you want a pretty cool premade case, visit bestbuy. For your A drive(floppy), you should replace it with a memory card/stick reader. Get a pretty small hadrdrive for your windows program, get a REALLY big secondary hard drive (or a big portable if you like to travel a lot) to store all your photo shop doc.'s

I suggest ';western digital'; harddrives, very quiet and high quality

    hope it helps (;
If you're working with that kind of stuff, you'll want both processor speed and a ton of memory. I'd put money into memory.

I'm not sure, though, that for those kinds of dollars, you'll get what you want. Unlike the ';old days';, you don't necessarily save a lot by putting your own together - companies like Dell and whatever have put a lot of research into eking out the best performance for their configurations.
I've always built my own machines. If you want to build a great box for as little $$ as possible then you need to be looking at AMD not Intel. This machine screams. I work with Photoshop, Illustrator, DreamWeaver, AudoCAD and all sorts of 3D programs. I'm running an overclocked AMD Athlon 64 3200+ w/ 2GHz RAM, NVidia 6800GS Graphics Card on a MSI K8N NEO2 Platinum motherboard. I originally built this box for less than $500 3 years ago and just did this last upgrade for less than $150 (processor and motherboard). You don't need anywhere near the fastest stuff out there to have a beast of a machine. Stay about 2 to 3 speeds below whatever is the latest thing out and you'll maximize speed vs. cost ratio and be ahead of the game with always more to invest down the road.
Since you are primarily doing graphics work, I would suggest a MAC rather than a PC as they are just better for ';heavy'; graphics work.

Basically, for a PC, you want min. 2Ghz CPU, Fast video card with min 256Mb mem, and a min 1Gb RAM at 400Mhz or better, IF using Vista, make that 3Gb RAM. MB with min 400Mhz FSB, case with at least 400W power supply, to fit MB, etc. ALSO a large, fast HD with min 2Mb cache.

I would ALSO suggest that you use multiple partitions, putting ONLY the OS on C, with others for applications, data, transfer, etc. (as needed.)

I have C through F partitions on MY machines with 80GB+ HDs. (I have 9 machines currently including an ';older'; mini-mainframe!)

Give me 1 piece of advice about building my own pc.?

I've almost got all the components together (motherboard, cpu etc) but I haven't put a computer together before and it's going to be very expensive mistake if I do something wrong :S. Any advice or tips will be much appreciated. tyGive me 1 piece of advice about building my own pc.?
Take your time, if this is your first time, just take your time. Read over the manuals completely before starting. It may take some time, but wouldnt you rather have it done right after some time instead of rushing to get it together and messing something up.

(and use an anti-static strap)Give me 1 piece of advice about building my own pc.?
Just buy an anti-ESD wrist strap for around 5$. I don't trust that ';touch something metal'; stuff!

Make sure all parts are compatible and that you're satisfied with the parts you've selected.

Read reviews on your motherboard to see if anyone has mentioned the documentation. You don't want to end up with the motherboard that comes with a scribbled-on piece of toilet paper for documentation!

Make sure that your PSU connectors are adequate for the rest of your components. Do you have enough SATA connectors? Do you have the right power connection to the motherboard? If not, buy adapters or look into a different board. It's a pain in the neck to order all those parts and put it all together only to find out you can't hook your hard drive up or connect the power cable to the motherboard!

Be especially careful with the processor, fan/heatsink, and mounting bracket. You don't want to bend, stress, or break anything here!

Don't skimp on your PSU. Buy an appropriately powerful PSU for your components and make sure it's highly rated. It doesn't need to be expensive, but you want something tried-and-true.

Make sure your case dimensions are appropriate! If you buy a monster 11-inch long graphics card and a micro-ATX case you might not be able to fit it in there!
It's very important that the Ram is compatible with the MOTHERBOARD and you put it the proper socket.Like socket A or socket 1 for the first module.
Don't forget the THIN layer of thermal paste between the processor and heat sink... and (I know this is two pieces of advice) make sure the heat sink is firmly seated on top of the processor.
Always ground yourself (by touching the metal case) before you pick up any of the components: these super tiny circuits can be fried by a static shock from your finger tips.
Actually, the magnetic screwdriver is a good advice.

Umm... 1 piece of advice... make sure all your parts are compatible with each other.
Before you start putting the peaces together be sure to ground yourself to discharge any static electricity.
    buy a magnetic screwdriver.

I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?

If you have $500 in a savings account, convert it into a secured credit card. Most banks can set it up for you. Do not go to a credit union because most do not report to the credit bureaus in order to keep the cost down.I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?
You should have 5-7 tradelines going at all times (credit cards, loans, mortgage, etc. are all considered tradelines). NEVER charge more than 50% of available credit. For example, you have a $1,000 credit card limit, you should never charge more than $500. ALWAYS pay your bill on time. Do not go 30 days late or it will hit your credit reports and continue to bring your scores down. If your credit is really bad and you can not get any credit cards and have no open credit cards, go to your local bank with $500 if you can and open a secured line of credit. You will be using your own money but it will be reported to the credit bureaus as a credit line that you are paying on time and will help build your credit.I NEED SOME ADVICE ON BUILDING MY CREDIT BACK?

    Good luck!!
Good luck.

You will need at least 24 months of consistent, on time payment history to improve your score.

  • Need your advice on building desktop applications.

Otherwise you might find your application getting stolen.

http://www.cclonline.com/product-categories.asp?category_id=124Hi i am planing on building a gameing pc but need some advice on what graphics card to go with?

It is a much better value than any nvidia cards out right now and much faster than most 9000 series nvidia cards (other than the ones that cost twice as much).

buiding one is cheaper, buy a pentium 4 board with CPU, buy 512MB or more of memory, hard disk, at least 40gb, good monitor, floppy drive, cd/dvd ROM with writer, tower or minitower casing, key board and mouse and any other add ons u may need...its cheaper, good luck
if you have to ask, my advice is to buy one already made. it's cheaper.
U have to find what are ur requirements. i.e the purpose.

Buy a standard equipments so that the drivers are easily available either in the Cd or from the net.

Go for the latest, it may be costly, but will have a longer worthiness as it can be used say for 3-4 years.

To answer your first question. No if your goal is to add size and get stronger then I'd say no. It's a bit to much to run 4 miles.

Don't run. Do long brisk walks (say an hour). Are you training for a marathon or what? Look if your goal is to get a good big strong lean body, eat more calories then you burn(from good sources of course) and do steady state cardio when you can(like I said long walks, think speed walking)

Less stress on ankles, you'll burn fat, you'll boost metabolism. You'll eat more and in the long run get bigger and stay or get leaner.

I don't do any cardio really, I'm naturally skinny and do a physical job anyways:D.

people tell me that i should eat even when i'm not hungry. can someone explain this to me in terms other than its face valueNEED SOME ADVICE BUILDING MUSLCE/GAINING WEIGHt?
DO NOT EAT WHEN YOU';RE NOT HUNGRY!!!!

Let's start with that fact. Eat at normal mealtimes, eat until you're feeling satisfied but not stuffed. If you do that as is, great job and keep doing it, otherwise, work to get there. Eat more foods with protein, etc., but don't overload on sweets.

Building muscle: do a bit of everything! Cardio will get you into generally good shape, and then just do many different machines--work your pectorals, abs, quads, hamstrings, biceps, triceps, trapezius, the list goes on and on. If you just focus on one, sure it'll get strong, but your body will be uneven. In order to gain the MOST muscle mass possible, you have to work everything in little bits and pieces.

As for supplements, I honestly don't believe in anything but pure herbs (which I believe in for general well-being and eyesight, etc.). If you do want to take vitamins or something, talk to your DOCTOR, he/she's the only one who can tell you what you can and can't have because different people have different bodies and different needs.

Good Luck!NEED SOME ADVICE BUILDING MUSLCE/GAINING WEIGHt?
Calcium, more than 2 eggs day, for waking up, or after workout, sweet stuff with milk, and for before bed, meat, whole wheat bread, or eggs. For the day time, eat what ever you crave, but have about 30-50 food carbs (not sugar carbs unless breakfast or post workout), but keep sugar not too high, have protein like meat eggs, or milk, or noodles, eat every 2-4 hrs or when you feel is best, as for weights, lift a weight you can only do for 10-15 reps, warm up first so you wont hurt your tendons, take a multi vitamin a day, one or 2 V8 cans a day and have a spotter when doing bench or squats, do bar curls (you can cheat a bit, but use your muscles, not momentum) and weighted calf raises, crunches or situps, shoulder preses, triceps overhead extensions (triceps make 2 thirds upper arm mass, forearm workout (curls, some griping things), maybe whey protein after workouts with soda pop
For naturally skinny guys like you, gaining weight is not easy. The equation works like this: We all need a certain number of Calories to maintain our weight, which is different for every purpose. The body is designed to want that exact number of Calories, so that will be the amount of food you're hungry for. To gain weight of any kind requires extra Calories, so that will mean eating more than you're hungry for hence eating when you're not really hungry.

To gain muscle, your body doesn't want any old Calories. Those must be good Calories. There are several sources of Calories- fat, alcohol, carbohydrates (includes sugars and complex carbs) and protein. To gain muscle, try to get as many of your Calories as you can from protein and complex carbs. It is important to keep fat in moderation as too much will lead to fat gain and you should keep sugar in check because it leads to mood swings and gives a high followed by a low, before your blood sugar settles down again. Alcohol should be kept to a minimum because it can cause atrophication of the muscles and filtering alcohol out your system puts unnecessary stress on the body.

Eating little and often helps you to manage better. It avoids feeling overfull and your body tends to handle more moderate amounts of food more often better than 2-3 large meals per day. Eating every 3 hours is best, as that's roughly how long it takes to digest a meal. Protein shakes may be useful if you don't feel like eating and are also good at getting lots of protein without the fat that often unfortunately comes with it. The downside is they are expensive- so it's your choice.

To find out how many Calories you should consume and what exercises to do, I would suggest talking to a gym instructor, which is what I have done. The exercises you need to do should be 3 sets of 8-10 reps (%26lt;8= too heavy, %26gt;10= too light and you aren't working hard enough to stress your muscles out %26amp; build them). You need to workout, chest, arms, back, abs and legs. Press ups are also very good for core strength. It is important to stretch before and after each workout in order to maintain muscle flexibility (weight lifting can stiffen the muscles).

Also, be realistic in your goals. For example, at 6'2 a ';healthy weight'; actaully begins at 156lbs, BMI of 20, though I imagine you wouldn't be trying to gain weight if it was just six pounds. If you set yourself a goal of say 200 and can't manage to get past 170 that can be very disappointing.
Before doing anything,be sure you stretch. When you do weights,do as much as you feel comfortable doing.Don't stretch your limits.Do 2 or 3 sets of twenty reps, and increase the amount of weight you use and the number of reps you do over time.Don't just eat and eat and eat like whoever you talked to said, you'll just gain weight, you won't gain muscle mass.
the major thing that you should do is, more reps with more weight. a lot of people will tell to do more weight less reps or less weight with more reps. lift a muscle until you can't lift any thing, then spend an hour running, then go do another lift. the next day don't lift at all, spend all day running, then lift again. as far as supplements, i would recommend True Mass.

and eating even when your not hungry will only make you gain weight by getting fat.
No need to waste money on protein supplements or any of those muscle/gain weight formulas. It will take a little time, but when you go to the gym make sure to lift heavier weights and do less reps. In addition make sure to eat three square meals a day. No need to go overboard on the fats just to gain weight. There is a healthier way to do it without putting the strain on your heart and liver. For breakfast make sure to have plenty of protein, eggs, and such. Your lunch should contain about the same in protein, but you want to balance that with fiber. A mid-afternoon shake and a well balanced dinner. Within 3 weeks you should start seeing a noticeable weight/muscle gain. Don't go to the gym everyday, your muscles need at least 48 hours rest. Your fats should come naturally from the food, but there has been a study where butter has been found to be beneficial to health, in moderation of course.

Don't do it! Build your body naturally, so your muscles will always be there, and you can thank yourself for the hard work and not some drug or steroid! I know it takes some years, but it is worth it!
There was an article in Yahoo News yesterday about how added testosterone kills brain cells.

Can anyone help me with the actual wood sizes? (And bridge building advice.)?

I don't really know the names for the wood sizes I want to use. I know I need to use pressure treated wood for this outdoor bridge, and the bridge must be able to support 800lbs. If anyone wants to give some tips on building this bridge, by all means do.

First, what are thee following pieces of wood? How would I ask for them in a hardware store:

    4 x 4 x 12

    2 x 4

    2 x 6

    ----------------

Now, I think I may also need a board 6 inches wide and 1 1/2 inch thick.

How can I answer these questions for myself?

    Thank you.

Can anyone help me with the actual wood sizes? (And bridge building advice.)?
Remember that ';dimensional lumber'; in the US is a far cry from it's stated dimensions.

    4 x 4 x 12

    I assume 4'; x 4'; by 12', just ask for a ';4 by 4'; at the lumber shop.

    It will be about 3.5'; x 3.5'; by 12'

    2 x 4, will be about 1.5 by 3.5 inches

    ask for a ';2 by 4';

    2 x 6, will be about 1.5 by 5.5 inches

    ask for a ';2 by 6';

6 inches wide and 1 1/2 inch thick.

    you can get a 2x6 which will be 5.5 by 1.5';

In you actually need the dimensions you state, you will have to buy a larger size and get it cut down with a special order, which is expensive. For example, you can buy a 6x6, actually 5.5 x 5.5, and get it cut down to 4x4.

You seem to have very little experience in construction. I think I knew what a 2x4 was when I was 12 years old. I hope that this bridge is not going to carry human traffic? If so, you need to get this checked by a structural engineer, or you could be liable for a lawsuit or a jail sentence when it collapses.

Help. Need advice on building Redwood deck in CO.?

I am building my own Redwood deck in the 'dry' Denver metro area of CO. Should I seal the boards, ends included, prior to installing them?Help. Need advice on building Redwood deck in CO.?
Hi my husband is a remodelor/carpenter and I asked him for you. He says that if the deck is going to rot anywhere it would definately be the ends and he highly recommends you sealing the ends before installing them if they are going to be butt up against the other boards . However; if the ends are going to be exposed then you don't need to seal them until after you install them as they of course would be accessable to get to them to seal. I hope this helps.Help. Need advice on building Redwood deck in CO.?
I also live in Denver Metro. I would seal the deck after building it. This is my personal preference, but it makes sense to seal the holes in the deck created by the deck screws.

The majority of the weathering will be on the outer surfaces which are exposed to the sun, rain, and snow.
I will never build another wood deck again.

put out the extra $ for the TREX or eq.

but if you do why not pre seal and fasten the boards from the bottom. No screws on the surface

I need advice on body building and martial arts.?

There's a man I'll have to fight in two years. He's 21. He's a construction worker and a giant. Over 6 ft and over 200 lbs. He lifts weights 2 hours a day. He bikes, rows, and runs. His fighting skills are those of the street. He doesn't use a real style.

The reason I want to fight this man is that he has been raping my best friend, who has moved abroad, for more than six months. The sexual abuse is still going on. My friend has no evidence of any kind. She is traumatized and she obeys his every wish. The lovely courts will do nothing to help her.

I'm 19. I'm only 5 ft 9 in and I weigh only 154 lbs. I must become stronger than him in 2 years. I must build my body and I must master a martial art that stresses nothing but brute force and tactical advantage. This is where I really need your advice.I need advice on body building and martial arts.?
Dude, you're not Batman, call the Police. If what she is saying is ture there will be physical evidence left behind.I need advice on body building and martial arts.?
So you are willing to let your friend get raped for another 2 years while you have your Kill Bill fantasy? Listen to yourself because you don't make any sense. If you were that good of a friend you would be looking for a way to help her TODAY and not in 2009.

Even IF you were serious, do you think that this guy is going to be sitting around drinking tea for 2 years waiting for you to come and rescue her? No, he's probably going to be lifting weights, biking, rowing, running, and fighting so that he'll be 225 by then.
A medical exam to verify the presence of his seminal fluid on her body, and her sworn statement that it was non-consensual, is all you should need in a U.S. court.

    Research the Mike Tyson case.

If you wait 2 years, then go off on a vendetta, you're only stirring up the legal muck and may destroy her chance to get justice.......

    get a lawyer!
Best advice is to stay the hell away from this situation, if there is any real abuse going on than it should be reported to the cops but sometimes women date jerks, there are many different resons that I wont go into, but know that even if you beat this guy up the woman will find another jerk too push her around

Best advice is not to get involved in womens crap unless she is your wife, i have a feeling that if you ever fight this guy and your ';best firend'; is there that she will jump in for her man and not you, trust me, i think what you would realy like to do it to date your friend yourself and think this is a good way to go about it but unfortunately you missed that boat long ago, if you really are her friend and dont want to be more than friends call the cops, take her with you to the cops, be a man but not an idiot, get her into the cop shop, if she says she is being abused the police have to do something, or maby just get her the hell away from him

but i recon you want her more than a friend and thats why your doing this, in that case dont ******* ruin your life over a chick you missed your chance with
If you really are in this kind of ';situation';, common sense quietly whispers that you need to tell police or jump this stereotypical tough guy, not post something on YA. Your ';solution'; is a bit weird because you can+should take action immediately rather than 2 yrs from now which probably means you aren't actually in any kind of emergency and neither is your ';best friend';. If your ';best friend'; is having trouble then you are dumb for being so lethargic. I know my buddies would be on this guy within the hour with shotguns and shanks. But if your ';situation'; REALLY demands it, you'd be better off with a gun or some sort of weapon.
I believe you are full of bull-malarkey.

Your friend must go talk to the police, they will protect her.
learn boxing in 2 years if you train hard you will be able to beat him down without even brakeing a sweat

this guy sounds like an *** hole

i have got one question though why 2 years?
unless you live in texas i can't help physically so i suggest you smash the insides of his knees and study the technique of aiming for pressure spots on the sides and back of his head and then keep hitting him till he's out

i despise predators so if you wanna learn a universal street style i have designed for my own use i live in fort worth tx and i will teach you for free for as long as it take my yahoo is COALT_D
You need to find another way to help your friend. I do not want to discourage you, but you have very little if any chances to succeed.

Your best plan is to keep working with the legal system, and with your friend to establish a strategy to gather proofs of the abuse.
I think what he is doing is sick.

It is not fair as she can not fight back.

I strongly suggest you report him to the proper authorities and possibly catch his raping on tape.

furthermore since bestiality is a serious offence, you should notify the ASPCA and PETA (I guess even terrorist organizations posing as ';animal rights'; organizations have uses) and give them the video.

notify us when his arrest is slated to appear on animal cops.
First of all, your chosen approach just ain't gonna work. Your talking about a scenario that only works in one of those Jean Claude Van Damme movies. It's a fantasy. And it also sounds like you're out for revenge more than you are wanting to help your friend.

Another thing.... Why 2 years? You said she or they have moved abroad. Is there some kind of deadline of when he will be able to return to such behavior?

Your situation seems to have some avenues to pursue:

    1) Get the police involved (but if your friend isn't willing to press charges, this isn't a great option).

    2) Convince her she has other options besides this guy and his abuse (then option 1 becomes available and the BEST COURSE OF ACTION).

    3) If you can't convince her, you may have to let her pursue her own Karma in this matter. (I hate to say it, but sometimes you can't help someone bent on self-destruction.)

    4) If you can't let it go.... Then, you have to get this guy to do something where she is not the key to stopping and/or prosecuting him. (Sting him. Set him up and let him take himself down.)

You aren't likely gonna beat him in a fair fight.... Maybe not even an unfair fight. Especially if you're thinking of doing the macho thing and try to go toe-to-toe with this guy.

  • Building a Retaining wall advice needed..?

I am building a conservatory and, although the site is level, there is a 670mm height difference between the ground and the damproof course of the house.

I wish to build a retaining wall (cavity wall of external leaf Bricks,Internal leaf of blockwork)floor level will be at dpc height

The site size is 4.1m wide x 2.8m projection from the house.

My question is will the wall withstand the pressure of the aggregate (8 tonnes) being the infilled material?

What depth and type of wall would be required or what other ways could I use to approach this problem.

solid chalk subsoilBuilding a Retaining wall advice needed..?
Firstly, make sure you cast a decent foundation approx 300mm wider each side of the wall x approx 150mm thk.

Place some visqeen (heavy duty plastic) in between the soil %26amp; wall,(stops damp penetrating).

I would build a 225mm(1 Brick or 1 block laid flat) retainer wall first, your cavity with tie wires %26amp; then your 110mm facing wall.

Good luck.Building a Retaining wall advice needed..?
what I suggested will suffice. If you concrete the cavity you cause a damp penetration bridge into your building. For your damp membrane 1200 gauge visqueen will do %26amp; you can also place 25mm polystyrene slabs between the soil %26amp; visqueen to prevent any tearing. Good luck...Dean

i'd do what dean and paul said.hope this helps
That would depend on location (for rainfall totals and freezing depths) as well as soil type. Since you'll need it inspected anyway you should check local building codes and build to those specs. Good luck.
ask your local building control officer (local council)for some advice,-they are normally quite helpfull
do exactly as dean says but i would rather see small pea gravel backfill between visqueen and soil , for additional drainage , you will need this approved by local authority

First of all, I don't think you want bigger hands (palms) becase there is no way to do that. I think you are referring to your arms i.e. forearms, biceps and triceps.

I am a certified personal trainer so this is what I would recommend for you. First of all you should only be working out in reps pof 8 -12 and no more than 4 sets. Secondly, to work both the forearms and the biceps switch to doing hammer curls as they are very effective for the forarms in particular.

If you can do 60 lbs 50 times (I dunno why) you should be able to do about 70 lbs 8 - 12 times. Although I doubt if you are doing them correctly based on your question.

DON'T bench 200lbs 30 times if you want to gain size. To gain size you should be working out at 70 - 85% of your bench press max.

    Consider a personal trainer.

Explain Processor for PC building advice. Duo V single.?

    Don't over complicate things!!!

I build my PC a couple of years ago and I have:

    Pentium 4, 3.0

    2 GB Ram

    160 GB Hard drive

ATI X850 Pro Agp 256mb - Video Card

    ETC...

I have a single processor and I'm hesitant to purchase a motherboard thats duo or quad because I don't know it.

Differences between single and the others??

If it's Duo will i need to purchase TWO?

Likewise quad need four? or do they come in a set?

    Speak clear please.

Most informative and fat-free answer gets +10 pointsExplain Processor for PC building advice. Duo V single.?
Hello and thanks for the question,

Duo just means 2 physical cores in one processor. Like having two brains in one skull. Quad core is just 4 cores in one processor.

Both of them are still only one processor to buy and one socket on the motherboard to plug it in, period.

Dual ';socket'; is where you have 2 sockets on the motherboard and need to buy 2 processors, those are rare.

From the outside a duo and a quad look the same as a single core (still looks like one skull from the outside even though there are many brains inside) they do require different pin configurations sometimes and different voltage settings so a motherboard that supports a single core may or may not support a multicore.

As always read the documentation on the motherboard before you buy to ensure it supports the processor you want.

Oh and btw if your last board ran a pentium 4 3.0Ghz you will probably need a new motherboard to run a multi-core.

The motherboards based on the P35 chipset from Intel are currently the best. Happy hunting and sorry for the gross skull/brains analogy hahaExplain Processor for PC building advice. Duo V single.?
Well, I'll make it simple and fast.

If you want to upgrade to utilize a duo core or quad core you simply have to look for a motherboard that supports duo core or quad core.

Dual/Quad Core processors don't require two slots for processors, just one.

    Simply go to this website:

    www.newegg.com

Search for motherboards and when you look for something that is in your price range, click on it and look under specifications. That should tell you what type of processors the motherboard supports.

    Should look something like this:

    CPU Type | Quad-core / Core 2 Extreme / Core 2 Duo / Pentium.

^thats the type of specification you're looking for.

    Have fun installing =]
It is one processor chip. It has 2 cores built into it, or four as the case may be.
u have to just change ur motherboard

to the board which supports the duo core or quad core procesors and duo or quad core processors need only one slot

its the internal architecture of the processors which makes it aduo or quad core
You should get a duo processor because it can do much more in less time. You do not need to buy 2 processors for a duo. It is just one processor. A duo processor is like breaking a problem into two smaller problems. then the processor figures out the two smaller parts and then puts it back together. it is a lot more efficient than having a single core.

Swimming isnt the idea exercise for someone wanting to add size. I recommend lifting weight that is heavy to the point that you can only do 6-8 lifts, rest for about 2 minutes and repeat 6-10 times per exercise.

  • Gym muscle building advice?

Hi, I'm a 17 year old guy and I need some advice. Ive been going to the gym for about 6 months. When I started I wanted to lose about a stone and I have but I've lost some more so now I'm technically underweight. For the last 6 months I've been doing about 25-30 mins of cardio then 1 hour weight resistance machines, the cardio worked because I lost the weight but I haven't barely gained any muscle! So what should I do? Give up cardio and just do the weight resistance stuff? I can't go gym more than 3 times a week. Plus I have no idea what to be eating not to gain fat again but to put on muscle weight. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, what to eat post workout? I get out of gym about 4.30 but don't usually have dinner till bout 6.30 - 7.00 Should I eat anything between getting out of gym and dinner? I don't think I can afford protein powder but I heard a can of tuna is good because high protein low fat but if I eat that tuna at 5pm should I still eat dinner aswell at 7pm? Any advice appreciatedGym muscle building advice?
Eating every 2 - 3 hours is great for your body, so long as the portions are under control. Eating 4 - 6 nutritionally and proportionally balanced meals a day is optimal. You won't gain fat if you are burning and using what you eat. So, be sure to intake a good balance of protein (lean meats, chicken, fish, low fat dairy) and carbs (whole grain breads, pasta, and rice, and veggies).

Yes, you should eat something high in protein right after your workout. A can of tuna would be great. Cold, leftover chicken or hard boiled eggs are good too. As for fruit, it's always best to eat it either right in the morning or right after a workout.

Your problem of not gaining any muscle weight could be directly related to not eating enough with the amount of working out you're doing.

I'd suggest keeping the cardio to about 2 times a week, but up-ing the weight of your resistance while up-ing your protein intake.

    Good luck!

For most women it is hard to gain mass. Protein builds muscle.

Heavy weight 6 - 8 reps builds muscle and strength. moderate weight with 10 reps max. is the best for what you describe. High reps will make the muscle smaller and is usually for endurance. It depends on genetics. We are all different and the above is used as guidlines.

What works for one will not work for another. A foundation of training with weights to condition the joints re tendon and ligamentation usually is required. It also depends on the amount of fast and slow twitch muscle fibers.

If the muscle gets bigger you will naturally get stronger. If you just want to get bigger eat donuts.

sample routine: 9-12 sets per muscle group. rest 48 hours between each muscle group

    Chest:

Bench press 3 sets 10 reps with weight that you can barely complete the 10th rep with good form. rest 1-2 minutes between sets. Stretch the muscle group being worked.

Incline Bench press 3 sets 10 reps weight the same

dumbell flys 3 sets 10 reps same weight Incline or flat bench

    Triceps: Wt same as above

Bench dips 3 sets 10 reps

dumbell kickbacks 3 sets 10 reps

tricep push downs 3 set 10 reps

    Shoulders: 2 sets 10 reps

Make sure to keep neck aligned properly. stretch neck gently

    Shoulder shruggs

    smith press

    front lateral dmbls raise

    side lateral dmbls raise

    posterior lateral dmbls raise

    Thats a sample workout

make sure to drink water and eat 1 1/2 grams of lean protein for each lb of lean body weight wanted.Workout/Body Building Advice Please?!?
First, you need to get stronger. Who will be bigger? A guy squatting 200 lbs or a guy squatting 450 lbs? A guy benching 175 lbs or a guy benching 300 lbs? Also, you shouldn't neglect your legs. Eat a lot, making sure your protein intake is high, and hit the gym 3 days a week (usually a M/W/F or T/T/S split). Usually a Push/Pull/Legs routine works well, doing 4-5 exercises a workout, doing 3-4 sets at 3-12 reps per set (the lower the number geared form strength, the higher for hypertrophy). Also, don't expect to get big overnight. I have been lifting for years, and still only intermediate and 215 lbs at 6'. It takes time and motivation
The formula for losing weight is simple - eat less food and move more often - the difficulties surface when we really try to put that into practice! There are a lot of opportunities to fail in the real world don't you think?! The sole method which definitely showed results for me was wu-yi tea, it can be checked out in the resource box below, they have a limited number of free trials remaining, it was reported in Reader's Digest and CNN. I lost 25 pounds, it definitely does produce results!
building muscle takes time, even longer than losing fat does.

You need to lift heavy weights ( heavy as possible, but keeping good form), 8-12 reps per set, 3-4 sets per exercise

and u must eat alot of good protein rich foods, and i would suggest buying a whey protein powder

but if ur thinking that ur gunna be buff for summer, think again. Like i said these things take time and lots of hard work.
