(I'm posting this question a second time for more answers.)
I am thinking of putting a treehouse in a large walnut tree. In addition to any building tips, I want to know whether there are any problems due to the branches swaying in the wind-as the force of this movement would be greatly amplified at nearer the trunk, could this crush the treehouse? How could this be overcome? Also, how could the platform be fixed into the tree-cables, coach screws etc? The tree is a large walnut with about 5 thick branches that spread out from the base of the trunkAny advice or information on building a treehouse?
