Team Building Advice for Fantasy Playoffs?

I'd take any advice. I'm in a standard 10 team H2H league. Had Hanson and Shields, but I was losing speed too often because Hanley %26amp; Victorino aren't swiping bags like they did last year, I couldn't start Bourn without losing tons of power %26amp; BAVG. - had to trade them for Ichiro. As of now, I have one empty roster spot, need a SP, and need to trade an OF for another SP.

C Bengie Molina

1B Todd Helton

2B Robinson Cano

SS Hanley Ramirez

3B Miguel Cabrera

OF Carlos Lee

OF Ichiro

OF Shane Victorino

UT Adam Lind

Bench: Juan Rivera plays when LHP, Carlos Quentin on DL, Michael Bourn

SP Roy Halladay

SP Jon Lester

SP Max Scherzer

SP Ricky Nolasco

SP Chris Volstad

RP Francisco Rodriguez

RP Jose Valverde

RP Heath Bell

RP Mike MacDougal

DL Matt Lindstrom

On waivers I could pick up: Jason Marquis, Brad Bergesen, Scott Baker, Dallas Braden, Scott Richmond (who is currently injured), or Tim Stauffer.Team Building Advice for Fantasy Playoffs?
The first thing that you should do is pick up Marquis. He is having a great season so far, and there is no reason to assume that any of his stats should get any worse. Also, he is going to be playing a lot of games against sub .500 teams and many of those will be in the weak NL Central. So he will also have a much easier schedule this half than he did before the all star break.

Also, once Quentin comes back in a week or two and you will have too many outfielders. It looks like you only have 5 SPs, so trade Lind and Bourn and also a closer for another solid starter.

Look for players that ended the first half of the season with a lot of wins. Some examples are John Danks, Gavin Floyd, Jarrod Washburn, or Erik Bedard.

Also, you could pick up Dallas Braden too is you still need some pitchers. He is also having a good season.

I hope this helps, and goold luck on the rest of the year!Team Building Advice for Fantasy Playoffs?
Pick up Marquis. He is doing well. As a Cubs fan, I cringe when i see his success, he is having one of his best years ever.
