Computer building advice and laggy game on good computer?

2) I have a game called Far Cry 2 on my laptop. I ran a test in systemrequirementslab.com and it said i pass the reccommended by 50%, but i still get lag bumps on the lowest setting, none the less HUGE lag on highest. Can someone explain that? if you need my computer stuff its called the Gateway p6860fxComputer building advice and laggy game on good computer?
Why do you need a 1000-watt psu? (unless your planning on doing tri sli or something) I have a 680-watt psu and it works good with an evga 9800gtx+ (SLI). If that OCZ Memory is coming with a rebate don't expect to get the rebate. OCZ and their rebate offices are seperate!!! yes it ok..i like XFX GeForce 9800 GT it very fast for gaming..
